yes and no. i'm alive, so that's a start.

honestly? not really, with what we've seen. but maybe that's sad too.

I'm sure you'll recover physically, but that's not the only thing I'm worried about

[ Yes, Ienzo is counting the parts of what Zexion saw in Sora's manipulated memories - Maleficent manipulated Riku once, and it was partly using his strong desire to protect his friends. Zexion would've taken this moment of weakness and twisted it, tried to squash the hope which remained in Riku ... ]

[ Ienzo wanted to take this moment to try and inspire hope and support instead. Do the exact opposite. ]

That kind of weight is easier to bear when you're not alone.

[it takes Riku a little while to respond to it. he's really not that used to having people worry about him, unless it's Sora and occasionally Naminè. (Kairi would be involved in this too if he actually hung out with her more often nowadays)
